Hello, I’m Ben, and I’m Judy. We have been walking with the Lord Jesus since the early 1980’s, married since 1985, parents, and now grandparents. There have been ups and downs, but there is nowhere we would rather be than walking with Jesus together! We have now been praying and seeking the Lord and asking Him to move us to a place where we can be more fruitful for His kingdom for almost 15 years. But God in His infinite wisdom has graciously kept us in His grip here in Winona, MN working in our hearts, keeping us focused on parenting through that season, and using us in the lives of people around us. He has humbled us by letting us see our own brokenness. He has grown us as a couple through seasons of sickness and health and richer and poorer, always holding us in His gracious grip. He is helping us understand His amazing love for us, and is teaching us to hear His voice through the Bible, others, and in prayer. He has grown compassion in us for the broken through our seasons of brokenness. He has taught us to see His image in the broken, and how to help them find strength and new life in Him. He has helped us to see beyond ethnicity through sweet relationships with international college and high school students. He has blessed us with the gift of hospitality and has used our home as a fruitful place for ministry.
Since the fall of 2018 we have been exploring two full time mission opportunities, one as dorm parents in Germany, and the other more closely related to Ben’s construction work experience. You can read more about this opportunity on the EMI Uganda Vision Trip page.
